Who this policy covers
This policy explains how R&S Compton Concrete and Masonry handles the information you share with us through this website. We're a masonry contractor in Compton, CA, and most of what we collect is what we need to call you back, come out to your property and give you an estimate.
It applies to every page on our site, starting with the home page. If you want to know more about who we are before you reach out, our About page covers that.
What we collect when you fill out a form
When you send us a request, we ask for your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property, because we can't schedule an estimate or reach you without them. You can also tell us about the job and send photos, which helps us show up with the right questions and the right materials.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type goes through their system before it reaches us. That service handles your entries under its own privacy terms, and we only use what you send for the reasons in this policy.
If you call or email us instead, we keep the same kind of details from that conversation so we can follow up on your job.
What we collect through analytics and cookies
Like most websites, ours may use cookies and basic analytics tools, which are small files and scripts that tell us how people use the site. They can record things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and roughly where you're connecting from.
We look at this in totals, not to track any one person, so we can see which pages help homeowners and which ones need work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading and sending us a request.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your request, schedule and give your estimate, do the work if you hire us, and send invoices and follow-up about your job.
We may also use it to keep our own records and to improve how our site and our service work. We don't sell your information, and we don't hand it to anyone so they can market to you.
Who else may see it
We share information only when it's needed to run the business or do your job. That includes the services that host our website, run our contact form and handle analytics, and it can include a supplier or permit office when your project calls for it.
We'll also share information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our business, our crew or our customers.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to answer your request, finish your job and stand behind our work. If we did work at your house, we usually keep those records for several years, because they help if you call us about the same wall or chimney later and because we need them for taxes and business records.
If you reached out and never hired us, we don't keep your information longer than we have a reason to. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove what ties it to you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep something for legal, tax or warranty reasons, and if so, we'll tell you what and why.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Depending on where you live, including California, the law may give you additional rights over your information, and we'll honor any request the law covers.
Before we act on a request, we may ask a question or two to confirm it's really you, so we don't hand your details to the wrong person.
Children
Our site is meant for homeowners and property owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our site or the tools behind it change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from then on.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, call us at (562) 232-8311 or reach us through our contact page. We pick up Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 11 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 9 PM.
Tell us what you'd like us to look into, and we'll get back to you and work it out with you directly.
